David Peñaloza Seijas works as a Principal Engineer at Verizon Enterprise Solutions in the Czech Republic, focusing on Cisco SD-WAN, OpenStack and NFV. Previously, he worked as a Data Center Network Support Specialist in the IBM Client Innovation Center in the Czech Republic. David is an expert interested in all topics related to networks, focusing mainly on data centers, enterprise networks, and network design, including software-defined networking (SDN). A Cisco Instructor for the Cisco Academy, David has been recognized as a Cisco Champion and a Cisco Designated VIP since 2017. David holds several certifications: CCNP R&S, CCNP SP, CCNP DC, CCDP, CCNA Security, CCNA CyberOps, and CCNA SP, and ITIL v3, among others. Currently, he is pursuing a CCDE.
